Common questions
about the BitBoost token

What is BBT?

The BBT (BitBoost Token) is a utility token that powers listings. It is the internal currency of the BitBoost Marketplace app. Sellers pay a small listing fee in BBT for each successful sale. If items don't sell, you pay nothing to BitBoost! BBT complies with the ERC20 standard and is freely tradable on the Ethereum platform. BitBoost tokens to not indicate ownership of the company, do not pay dividends, and BBT holders will not earn any interest. BitBoost does not recommend investing in these tokens as assets.

Why use a token?

This token is an integral part of the app's economy, and it's value will reflect the degree of penetration and activity within the platform. The more merchants listing items for sale on BitBoost Marketplace, and driving customer adoption, the greater the demand for BBT will be. This will help BitBoost pay for ongoing development to better serve users' needs. Improved features will further increase interest among buyers and sellers. The recycling of BBT is needed to keep the system going for many years to come.

Where should I keep my BBT?

If you are using a beta version to test the app, do not use real BBT.

We have created "test BBT" and "test ETH" for the purposes of testing our beta versions.

If you're using the live version of the app, you can simply keep your BBT in the app's built-in wallet. Remember, only sellers need BBT. (Buyers do not).

If you prefer an external wallet to keep most of your BBT, we recommend myetherwallet. Visit MyEtherWallet and use the “Create New Wallet” function on the home page. Then, you will need three pieces of information in order to prepare your wallet correctly:
Address: 0x1500205f50bf3fd976466d0662905c9ff254fc9c

Token Symbol: BBT
 Decimals: 4
After you log in to your wallet, click the “Add Custom Token” button under “Token Balances.” Enter those three pieces of information as shown above, and click “Save.” Your wallet is now ready to accept BBT.

How do I get BBT?

If you are testing one of our beta versions, you may request "test BBT" and "test ETH"
by emailing us at freemoney@bitboost.net.
Don't forget to include your app wallet address so we know where to send your test tokens.
Never use real crypto when testing - you'll lose it forever!

For the live app, you will need real tokens.

BBT are already available on several exchanges.

Please note that BitBoost has no relationship to these third-party exchanges, and no control over them or the token market in general. These exchanges have independently chosen to list our token. Use exchanges at your own risk.

The BBT is a utility token. BitBoost does not recommend tokens as investments. Before buying any token, including ours, educate yourself about cryptocurrencies by learning from independent experts. You can also read our Risk Disclosure for more info.
